Dinner's up!!!

Last Christmas, my nephew asked for a video game. I'm not going to tell you the name of the video game but let's just say it's a game where you boost cars and run around robbing and shooting everybody... waaaaaay too graphic for a 6 year old.

"No!"

After I broke his chubby little heart, I got to thinking; that game was about $60.

On average, it costs $10.36 to feed 50-60 malnourished children in the Philippines. Isn't that crazy?! Imagine a classroom. A classroom roughly fits 30 kids. For the price of that one little video game, you could feed ALL those kids dinner for almost a week!

Our goal is to be able to feed 50-60 malnourished kids 2 times a day, 5 days a week for 6 months. Every month we will weigh the kids to monitor them while they make their way up to a normal, healthy body weight. At the end of the 6 month program, the kids then move to another charity group for further feeding and we bring in another batch of 50-60 kids for the 6 month feeding program.
